Presenter Session Slides and Handouts of the PA Childhood Trauma and Injury Prevention Conference

This statewide conference presented on April 23-24, 2012 by the Pennsylvania Department of Health and Safe Kids Pennsylvania provided attendees with best practices in childhood injury prevention, innovative programs, and skills and strategies to enhance their outreach to families in their community. Workshop sessions focused on best practices related to motor vehicle safety, youth sport concussion management, walkable communities, home visitation, carbon monoxide safety and community paramedicine. In addition, skill-building sessions on using data for message development, advocacy, and injury prevention principles were offered.
